Office Update June 2026

A new home for justice in the Highlands.

Hope Pro Bono Legal Inc. has moved into our office in Mount Hagen — the first Community Legal Centre in the Highlands Region of Papua New Guinea.

We exist for the people who have too often been shut out of our justice system — survivors of gender-based violence and sorcery accusation-related violence, women, children and families navigating family law, and communities who need someone in their corner but cannot afford a lawyer to promote and protect their basic human rights. Our services are free, and they are built around dignity, safety, and respect.

For too long, people in the Highlands have had to travel far, pay too much, or simply go without when they needed legal help. Justice felt like something that happened somewhere else, for someone else. We are here to change that.

Our office is set up and our team is in place. We are now finalising the last steps of our operational set-up, and we look forward to opening our doors to clients very soon.
